A Mixed Bag

Fun Fact for the Day: CNN.com offers a box of highlights for opinion pieces. I really had to exert some willpower there to keep that last sentence clean. Have reader attention spans atrophied so much that we have to sum up writer opinions in bullet points? Here goes:

• Sorry about the hiatus. I've been busy.
• Hopefully it will please you to know that up until this week, much of what has kept me busy was writing. This week it's other issues. Not bad issues mind you, just time consuming ones.
